Bouin Baneh permanent water pumping station was put into operation with the presence of the President. Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi inaugurated the Bouin Baneh permanent water pumping station at noon this Friday, following the plans of the second day of the Popular Administration’s provincial visit to Kurdistan province. Water supply to Baneh city from Abbas Abad dam includes transmission lines 22.5 km long, pumping station with a capacity of 650 litres per second and storage tanks with a capacity of 10 thousand cubic meters. This project aims to sustainably supply part of the drinking water needs of Baneh city with a capacity of 555 litres per second with a volume of 8.5 million cubic meters per year and covers the drinking water needs of 223 thousand people. Also, with the presence of the President, there are several water and electricity projects of the Ministry of Energy in Kurdistan province, including water supply from the second module (section) of the treatment plant No. 2 in Saqqez city from Cheragh Weis dam, water supply project and other important projects were put into operation in the form of video conferencing.
