The first unit of the 914-megawatt combined cycle power plant of Isfahan Mobarakeh Steel with a capacity of 307 megawatts was officially put into operation with the presence of the President. Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi issued an order to start the operation of the first unit of the 914-megawatt combined cycle power plant of Mobarakeh Steel with a capacity of 307 megawatts. The executive operation of this power plant, based on Article 4 of the Law on Removing Obstacles to Production and according to the plan announced by the Minister of Energy to create 10,000 megawatts of self-sufficient electricity generation capacity by industries, has started since the beginning of the 13th Administration and has now reached the operational stage.
