Dr Raisi described insulting the Holy Quran as an insult to all divine religions, an insult to humanity, and an insult to all divine values, and emphasised that the Islamic society will not tolerate this insult.
Speaking in the enthusiastic gathering of Friday prayers in Musalla of Rafsanjan city, Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi congratulated them on Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Ghadeer, and said, "We thank God that today we are under the shadow of the Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist and added , "The legitimacy of this system, its institutions, organisations and departments are connected to the Guardianship, and today religious democracy in our country has been manifested in the light of the Guardianship".
Ayatollah Raisi continued to list religion, religion-orientedness and Guardianship-orientedness among the distinguished characteristics of the people of Rafsanjan city, and honouring the memory of the great figures of this city, including the late Sheikh Abbas Pourmohammadi, the late Sheikh Mohammad Hashemian, the late Friday Prayer Imam of Rafsanjan, and the late Hashemi Rafsanjani, and said, "The people of this city and all the commanders of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps shone brightly in defending religion and values".
In another part of his speech in the passionate gathering of worshipers in Rafsanjan city, Dr Raisi mentioned the issue of water as one of the most important issues needed by the people of Kerman province and said, "The Popular Administration, considering the issue of water tensions in the villages and cities of the country, started the beginning of its work to solve this problem and solve the water stress".
Referring to the progress of the piping operation of the Persian Gulf water transfer project to Rafsanjan, the President expressed hope that the remaining part of this project will be completed in the near future with the efforts of the officials and people at work.
Ayatollah Raisi continued to address the concern of electricity supply to the farmers of Rafsanjan as one of the other important priorities of the government in this city and added, "This year, with the management of distribution, the situation has been much better than the previous years".
The President further emphasised the need to preserve the identity of Rafsanjan city and said, "The religious identity and revolutionary spirit of this region must be preserved and improved day by day by dear youths and cultural institutions".
Ayatollah Raisi added, "This huge capital and this identity arose from these Friday prayers and religious delegations that protect our youth against the cultural invasion of the enemy".
Recalling the two important principles of maintaining faith and hope in the statements of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution at the funeral ceremony of the Imam Khomeini (RA), the President clarified, "The enemy seeks to both damage faith and turn hope into despair, and in this regard, all the statesmen have the duty to increase hope in the hearts of the people day by day with jihadist activity and effort".
Dr Raisi further pointed out the personality dimensions and characteristics of martyr Haj Qasem Soleimani and said, "The character of this noble martyr was based on faith in God, love for H.H. Fatima Zahra (PBUH), love for Imam and Leader and philanthropy".
In addition to strongly condemning the insult to the Holy Quran in one of the European countries, the President stated, "You see what threats are being made against religion and religious values today, in European countries that claim freedom and respect for the opinions of others, to the most valuable divine book that has come for human guidance".

Dr Raisi stated that they are falsely in favour of freedom of expression, pen, and opinion, because if they were in favour of freedom, the Quran is a manifestation of freedom, and added, "They are against freedom and want to impose the same tyranny of their votes and false opinions on humanity with the sign of freedom".
