Speaking at the meeting of the Supreme Council of Science, Research and Technology at noon on Saturday, Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi referred to the priorities raised in this council, and emphasised on the prioritisation in the implementation of the issues raised according to the necessities, needs and credits of the country.
Referring to the plan to hold the university entrance exam electronically, the President added, "This plan should be tested in detail and even implemented in some regions and provinces so that its flaws and defects are identified and fixed, so that it does not face any issues during its nationwide implementation".
The President referred to the plan to improve the efficiency of policies in the field of the country's young population, emphasising on getting practical response from the executive policies of population rejuvenation and clarified, "A good law for population rejuvenation has been prepared and approved, but it should be regularly implemented and its implementation should be regularly evaluated".
The President mentioned the next agenda of the meeting, which was the solutions to facilitate and remove the implementation obstacles of research and technology in the country and emphasised, "The directives and instructions should be based on the actual conditions in the field of action, including the nature of the problems and the facilities and capacities available to solve them".
Dr Raisi described the creation of a system for ideas and needs and said, "The very important point is that the speed of progress and gaining scientific authority in the country should not be allowed to be slowed down or reduced in any way".
Referring to the fact that the country has more than 101,000 faculty members at universities and scientific centres, the President emphasised the use of this scientific support to speed up the country's progress".
