Based on the approval of the Supreme Council of Economic Coordination, from the beginning of the Iranian year 1402, the customs duties on the import of medical equipment and supplies were reduced to 1 per cent. The 89th session of the Supreme Council of Economic Coordination was held on Wednesday evening, chaired by Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, with other members taking part. In this meeting, after the report of the Minister of Health and Medical Education on the condition of the medical equipment and supplies stored in the customs, it was decided that from the beginning of the Iranian year 1402, the customs duties on the import of medical equipment and supplies be reduced to 1 per cent. Also, the deadline for submitting tax returns for business owners was extended.
