Stating that the link between spirituality and politics was one of the manifestations of Imam Khomeini's (RA) life, the President noted, "One of the changes that Imam Khomeini (RA) created was the change in the field of politics, that too in a sensitive and important region of the world, in such a way that Imam's revolution disrupted all political equations in the world and new equations were formed".
Speaking on Saturday evening on the night of the 34th anniversary of the demise of the founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini's (RA) Mausoleum, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi honoured his memory and the martyrs of the Islamic Revolution, especially the martyrs of 15 Khordad (June 5, 1963), and said, "Today, more than ever, it is necessary to know Imam's character, his words, his life and the glorious revolution he founded".
Emphasising that even though 34 years have passed since the demise of the Imam, he is still alive, because the legacy, the way and the words of the Imam are alive, and added, "Today, the way and the words of Imam Khomeini (RA) are well-known for free nations of the world".
Pointing out that the originality of the Islamic Revolution originates from the name and memory of Imam Khomeini (RA), Dr Raisi said, "We should not let the memory and name of Imam fade in the society".
The President said, "Our great Imam was a man of God and all his success in his personal, social and governmental life was due to the fact that he considered himself a man of God. He knew and dedicated his life to God's pleasure".
Referring to the emphasis of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in his Nowruz speech on attention to transformation as an inevitable necessity for the country, the President said, "Imam Khomeini (RA) in his personal, social and political life had a transformative view of religion".
Dr Raisi added, "Imam considered religion not as a series of personal and individual actions and orders, but as complete and progressive orders for managing the society, which can systematise and civilise and establish a society called religion".
Stating that jurisprudence was in Imam's nature as a jurist, the President clarified, "Imam understood jurisprudence by all means and sought to implement religion in the society".
Ayatollah Raisi stated, "Imam Khomeini (RA) established the Islamic Republic based on the link between the will of the people and the divine ideals, while many of the world's calamities today are caused by the separation of politicians from spirituality. For example, the 70 years of crimes committed by the Zionist regime against the Palestinians and many other crimes in the world and the creation and use of weapons of mass destruction are all the result of politicians falling away from spirituality".
Emphasising that one of the important and effective factors in the formation of the new world order is the Islamic Revolution, Dr Raisi said, "Today, we see that the indicators of America's power and unilateralism are declining, and new and emerging powers such as regional organisations, especially in Asia, are forming".
Emphasising that the Islamic Revolution is an important and effective leg of this movement that is being formed in favor of the resistance movement, the President added, "Today we clearly see the status of the Zionist regime as the blessed child of America in the region, in the past 70 years since the formation of this movement. The regime has never been as bad as it is today, and these are significant indicators and manifestations of the formation of the new world order".
Ayatollah Raisi said, "Justice can be an individual matter such as being just when testifying in court or the justness of the imam of the congregational prayer, but another dimension of the personality of a just person is overcoming the forces of sensuality and wrath".
Dr Raisi emphasised that the founder of the Revolution sought to establish justice in all spheres, and added, "After monotheism, there is no religious concept that is more comprehensive than justice".
The President considered the name and memory of Imam (RA) as the soul of the Islamic Republic of Iran and stated, "Today, the path of Imam (RA) is our guide and all people who want to live free, independent and as a Muslim".
Dr Raisi stated, "In today's conditions, the voice of the contemporary man seeking justice is the instructions of the Imam (RA), and he was the founder of the most popular revolution and movement, whose effects can be studied, thought about and modelled for all the people of the world".
Ayatollah Raisi added, "Our nation gained self-respect with the spirit of Imam (RA) and his sense of inferiority disappeared and became a great power".
Stating that today the strategic extension of the Islamic Revolution can be seen in all parts of the region and the world, the President stated, "The spirit of the eight-year resistance of the resistant and oppressed people of Yemen against the arrogant in their most difficult conditions is one of the teachings of the Islamic Revolution, and the Palestinian people who, before this, waited for negotiation tables and liberation organisations and agreements such as Camp David, Oslo and Sharm el-Sheikh, changed with resistance and standing, and today the initiative is in the hands of warriors in the field".
The President considered the vulnerability of great powers to the power of the right as one of the other teachings of the founder of the Islamic Republic and said, "In those days, no one believed that great powers would collapse, but the former Soviet Union collapsed and the power of the United States is also declining. On the other hand, those who claim power today acknowledge the authority of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and our power in the region is inevitable and undeniable, and no equation can be formed except with the role of Islamic Iran".
Dr Raisi stated that today the flag of resistance is in the hands of the Supreme Leader, and noted, "We have stated many times that we are ready to interact and cooperate with any country that wants to have relations with Iran, but we will stand against any country that wants to stand up against the Iranian people".
Ayatollah Raisi stated, "Today, resistance has become a prominent political word in the world, and the secret of resistance is that the way is not to surrender to the enemy, but to become strong against it, and a strong society resists conspiracies and seditions".
The President added, "The Supreme Leader of the Revolution spoke many times about a strong Iran, and a strong Iran has been formed thanks to the teachings of the Imam and the leader and efforts of the brave young people, and great strength and progress have been made in Islamic Iran".
Ayatollah Raisi clarified, "The strategy of the Islamic Republic is to create hope in the hearts of the people and to work in the path of progress, and those who instil hopelessness and despair are moving against the system's strategy".
The President noted, "Sanctions are imposed to create slowness in the country, and the response to sanctions is the round-the-clock effort and activity of all servants in the Islamic system".
The President stated that Islamic Iran has made great progress in the fields of science and technology with the efforts of young people in the industrial and military fields, and emphasised, "In the political field, we have the best and most effective role in the region, which is the result of the generation of power by the efforts of the dear people of our country".
The President referred to the Supreme Leader's analysis of the recent riots and said, "When the enemy saw that we are progressing despite all the sanctions and threats and admitted that the maximum pressure on the Iranian nation had failed shamefully, they hatched a new conspiracy".
Dr Raisi considered the defeat and neutralisation of sanctions as the result of the people's standing and said, "$52 billion trade of the Islamic Republic of Iran is a unique record achieved by the people. They thought they could stop us, but they saw that production was established and hundreds of factories were opened and the country was creating jobs".
The President referred to Imam (RA)'s views on the status of women and youth and said, "Imam always paid attention to the dignity of women and the upliftment of the youth, and he fulfilled this belief not only in words but also in actions".
