While appreciating the 10-year efforts of Admiral Ali Shamkhani as the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi appointed Dr Ali Akbar Ahmadian to this position. Dr Ali Akbar Ahmadian studied strategic management at the National Defence University. Before this, he was in charge of the strategic centre of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and, by the order of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, he was a real member of the Expediency Council.
