Emphasising that the development and solving the problems of Sistan and Baluchistan is a serious issue for the government, the President said, "The implementation of justice for all parts of the country is an important issue of the government and our basis in implementing justice is spatial planning".
Upon his arrival in Sistan and Baluchistan province on Thursday morning, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi had an interview with reporters about the plans and objectives of this trip, and said, "This trip is to follow up on the resolutions of the previous trip to the province, especially the plans that are in Makoran region as a region which the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution has emphasised on the development".
The President stated that there is a great potential for the development of production, employment, tourism and maritime economy, and added, "Thanks to the Islamic Revolution, good steps have been taken for the development of the province, but the current situation of the province is far from the ideal situation".
Dr Raisi pointed out that in this trip we also want to follow the border projects between Iran and Pakistan, and said, "In this trip, the establishment of border bazaars, economic and tourism plans and projects, transportation roads and the completion of the region's infrastructure will be pursued".
Apologising to the people of the province for not being able to visit different cities in this trip, the President clarified, "I promise the dear people of the province that I will travel to different cities of the province as soon as possible and meet with the dear people".

In the end, Dr Raisi appreciated the efforts of the honourable representative of the Supreme Leader in the province, the governor-general, the honourable members of parliament and senior managers, especially in the armed forces, to remove the deprivations and develop the province of Sistan and Baluchistan, as well as to improve the security of the region.
