In a message on the demise of the pious scholar Ayatollah Abbas Ali Akhtari, the late Representative of the People of Tehran in the Assembly of Experts, the President expressed his condolences to the scientific community of the country, the honourable representatives of the Assembly of Experts, his students and especially the deceased's respectful family. In his condolence message, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi stated, "This great cleric, who was one of the fighters of Imam Khomeini's (RA) movement, had various political and cultural activities after the victory of the Islamic Revolution".He stated, "He dedicated his fruitful life to serving the system and promoting and explaining Islamic values and left a lasting legacy behind".
