In a phone call with Dr Saeed Namaki, Minister of Health and Medical Education, the President instructed him to cooperate with the Security and Social Committee of the National Task Force for Fighting Coronavirus, and make an accurate evaluation of the preparations for the implementation of the Smart Social Distancing Programme to be presented to the meeting of the heads of the committees of the National Task Force on Saturday.
Dr Hassan Rouhani also stressed that the previous decisions regarding Tehran province are still in force and no new decisions have been made, and called on the Minister of Health and Medical Education to cooperate with the Social Security Committee of the Task Force in order to closely monitor the restrictions in Tehran and fully inform citizens.
The Smart Social Distancing Programme is scheduled to be implemented in all provinces except Tehran from Saturday.
Dr Rouhani also emphasised to the Minister of Health and Medical Education that cooperate with other committees of the National Task Force for Fighting Coronavirus, and come to a conclusion regarding the necessary supplies such as disinfectants and healthcare equipment such as masks and gloves, etc. in order to carry out the necessary measures for their production.
