President Hassan Rouhani sent a letter to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution to appreciate his agreement to the request for withdrawing €1 billion euros from the National Development Fund of Iran (NDFI) to confront and manage the effects of coronavirus outbreak in the country, and issued the necessary instructions for supplying the essentials in this regard.
President's Chief of Staff sent a letter to head of Plan and Budget Organisation Dr Mohammad Baqer Nobakht and forwarded Dr Rouhani's postscript to the letter from Supreme Leader's office.
In the postscript, Dr Rouhani has written, "Supply the requirements of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education from this resource, and spend it on domestic production by taking advantage of knowledge-based companies as much as possible. Also, deliver the necessary assistance to the Unemployment Insurance Fund within the next week and present the details at cabinet's economic board".
