Ground collapse risk reduction plan in Tehran approved/Gov't to back household lost head due to natural disasters/Gov't agrees to importing firefighter vehicles 5 years old max

The cabinet convened on Sunday in a regular weekly session and approved the plan of reducing ground collapse risk in Tehran, a plan that is aimed at paying more attention to the causes, consequences and solutions to the phenomenon.

The Council of Ministers also discussed and agreed that the administration support families that have lost their head of household in natural disasters.

Furthermore, the administration also made decisions about the environment and evaluation of a number of projects, including Tehran's second southern freeway in Qazvin, Alborz, Markazi and Tehran provinces, Shafarood Dam in Guilan province and Khersan 3 Dam and hydroelectric power plant in Chaharmahal & Bakhtiari province.

The cabinet also agreed on a proposal by the Ministry of Industries, Mining and Trade to import firefighter trucks no more than 5 years old.
