In the conference that was held on Sunday in Tehran in the presence of the heads of the three branches, Dr Rouhani said: "Martyr Beheshti taught us to endure anything for our country and revolution's dignity".

"The administration lifted the nuclear sanctions with the Supreme Leader's guidance and alongside other branches," continued Dr Rouhani.

He also said: "Sacrifices and great services of the judicial branch must not be harmed by small mistakes".

The President added: "Beheshti paid special attention to training the youth and seminary students to understand the needs of the time".

World powers gave various weapons to Saddam but we resisted, he said, adding: "Trying to put our country under pressure by imposing sanctions was the third conspiracy against our political system".

On economic issues, he said: "The 11th administration took office while the country was experiencing a record depression".

"Although the employment rate in spring stands on 700,000, we are still far from the desired point," Dr Rouhani added, saying that for the state and administration, there is no asset over social trust.

On the recent presidential and city council elections, he said: "All judges, academics, forces and people marked a secure and lively election".

The enemy does not want us to be united and to progress, said Rouhani, adding: "We are able to overtake others with our religion, people and great assets".

"The judicial branch can provide the required security for economy and investment," said the President. "We are all responsible to help the judicial branch".

He also went on to say: "Branches have never sought to defame each other but we must have greater cooperation with each other".

"The notion of 'independence of the branches' does not mean not having interaction in foreign policy and economy," continued the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

He continued: "The enemy does not want peace and development in the entire region. We must act in a way that if the U.S exercises hostility, other powers do not follow them".

"We must not let and give the U.S excuse to further expand its reach," he said.

On the JCPOA, the President said: "Today, violation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) by the U.S is opposed by Russia, China and Europe".

"The U.S was left alone with Israel and Saudi Arabia in the latest FATF meeting," Dr Rouhani said, adding: "Being revolutionary means isolating the U.S".

For a judge, faction, ethnicity and religion must not make any difference when they issue a verdict, continued the President, saying: "We must work together for our country's independence and prosperity, as well as clarity and fighting corruption".

He also went on to say: "Ayatollah Amoli Larijani is a prominent figure who has a perfect command of jurisprudence and requirements of our time".
