Cabinet demands prompt handling of quake-hit areas in N. Khorasan/Labour minister sent to the area as gov't envoy

The Council of Ministers convened on Sunday in a session that was chaired by the First Vie-President Dr Jahangiri and instructed the respective organs to promptly address the problems of the villages and areas hit by earthquake in North Khorasan province.

The cabinet also designated the Minister of Cooperatives, Labour and Social Welfare as the administration's representative to visit the areas hit by the recent earthquake.

The Council of Ministers also discussed and made decisions about provincial divisions, imports, membership fees for the Deposits Security Fund, amending regulations of construction in coastal areas, and the administration's membership in the International Islamic Liquidity Management Corporation.
