Speaking at the first cabinet session in the new year on Sunday, Dr Rouhani said: “Achieving double-digit economic growth, single-digit inflation and creating 700,000 jobs has been unprecedented”.

He also stressed that knowledge-based companies must be developed, and added: “The youth and people graduated from universities are a great opportunity for the country”.

“The government’s economic team will create a preferable employment rate with more cooperation aimed at economic growth,” continued the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

He went on to say: “The double-urgency bill for generating employment in rural areas should be approved as soon as possible to make a great move in villages”.

Stressing that expressing the government’s services is not expressing a single group’s services, Dr Rouhani urged the judiciary to support Resistive Economy with all its might to create security in the field of production and employment.

Supervisory organs should monitor, continued the President adding: “However, they should not intervene in implementation phase because it can create problems for production and employment”.

Dr Rouhani also appreciated the government employees, the police and the emergency services for their efforts in year 1395.

He went on to say: “Boosting production and employment is a religious and national duty”. He continued: “I will issue instructions for implementing the Supreme Leader’s intentions”.
