Tehran, Hanoi agree to rise trade 5 times

The Presidents of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam agreed to increase trade between the two countries for more than five times to over $2bn.

After the signing of two cooperation documents between the two countries, President Rouhani and President Trần Đại Quang told reporters that they will do their utmost for realisation of the prospect.

Appreciating Vietnamese people for their hospitality, Dr Rouhani said: “The people of Iran consider Vietnamese people as independence-seeking, hard-working, development-seeking, peace-loving and persistent in the face of foreign aggressions”.
