President chairs coordination meeting for Kermanshah trip/Stressing private sector support in the province

President Rouhani chaired a meeting aimed at coordinating his provincial tour to Kermanshah province and underscored that private sector in the province should be supported more.

Dr Rouhani also underlined that the potentials of Kermanshah should be tapped in order to promote sustainable employment.

During the meeting that was held in the presence of a number of cabinet ministers and their deputies, each minister gave a report on their performance and achievements in the province and proposed their plans for the current year.

At the meeting, major construction and cultural plans were reviewed and approved, execution of which can make a jump in sustainable and balanced development in Kermanshah province.

The plans are in the fields of industrial infrastructures, health, energy and petrochemicals, agriculture and tourism.

Head of the Presidential Office and President’s Chief of Staff Dr Mohammad Nahavandian, Head of Management and Planning Organization and Spokesperson of the Government Dr Mohammad Baqer Nobakht, Vice-President for Executive Affairs, Vice-President for Environmental Affairs and the Governor General of Kermanshah province accompanied with his deputy took part in the session.

Dr Rouhani is set to visit Kermanshah in mid-July in order to meet with and address the people of the province.
