President leaves Islamabad for Tehran

President Rouhani left Islamabad for Tehran late on Saturday to mark the end of his two-day trip to Pakistan, given an official farewell by the President of Pakistan.

In this two-day trip, Dr Rouhani met with the Prime Minister and President of Pakistan, as well as the Chief of Army Staff of the Pakistan Army and the Advisor to the Prime Minister of Pakistan in Foreign Affairs.

He also met with the business community and merchants of Pakistan, as well as scholars and elites of the country.

In this trip, six documents and cooperation agreements was signed between Iran and Pakistan by the high-ranking officials of both countries.

At the end of his trip, Dr Rouhani attended a press conference with the Pakistani media and answered their questions.

Eventually, President Rouhani was given a farewell by the Pakistani President Mamnoon Hussain and left for Tehran.
