Speaking on Friday during his visit to Bushehr province, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi visited the house of the Rais Ali Delvari Museum and met with a group of Delvar people who were present at this place.
The President described Bushehr and Delvar as the manifestation of the resistance of the people of the province against the bullies and aggressors and said, "Rais Ali Delvari is a famous figure who has become a symbol of resistance against the aggressors in the south of the country".
Stating that Bushehr province has sacrificed countless great martyrs to defend the values, homeland and honour of the country against the aggressors, Mr Raisi added, "Rais Ali Delvari's ideology is still going on in the people of this region".
Referring to the anniversary of the martyrdom of Martyr Nader Mahdavi in fighting foreign aggressors, Ayatollah Raisi said, "The resistance of Martyr Mahdavi and his comrades shows the continuation of the path of Rais Ali Delvari, and in this way, Shrine Defenders who stood against the invaders of the Ahl al-Bayt's shrines are also the successors of Delvari".
The President also referred to the request of the Friday Prayer Imam of Delvar regarding the promotion of Delvar County, and said, "This issue will be examined based on the divisions of the country and if it has the necessary conditions, it will be informed to the people".
Ayatollah Raisi also led the noon and afternoon prayers at the home of Rais Ali Delvari, after which he met with a number of families of the province's martyrs.
