President’s Chief of Staff called the Governor-Generals of Khuzestan and Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari on behalf of the President to follow up on the situation of the earthquake-hit area in Kuhrang County. In the phone call, Gholamhossein Esmaili conveyed the orders of the President for addressing the situation rapidly and providing relief services to the area.Based on the report of the Iranian Seismological Center, a 5.7 magnitude earthquake happened in the area Monday morning at 06:09 am.
