Speaking on Friday night in the meeting of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Administrative Council, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi stated that people's satisfaction is an important indicator in evaluating the performance of managers and officials, adding, "With jihadist work and revolutionary spirit, we can resolve the problems and remove the barriers to progress".
Mr Raisi said, "I have no doubt that with the capable hand of the managers of the province and the support of everyone, the province can be changed and the high capacities of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad can be used for progress and providing service to the people".

Referring to the reports presented by a number of ministers at the beginning of the meeting, the president said, "The reports of a number of ministers showed that they have a plan to solve the problems of the province".

Enumerating the important capacities of the province in the field of oil and gas, agriculture, tourism and natural resources, Mr Raisi said, "If these capacities are used properly, we will not have an unemployment problem in the province”.

The President said, "In the first step, the government is trying to maximally activate the inactive industrial capacities of the province, especially the propulsion industries, and in this direction, we will support private sector investors and entrepreneurs".

Dr Raisi continued by appreciating the efforts made to rebuild the areas affected by the earthquake in Sisakht, saying, "We should try to prepare and deliver people's houses before the start of the cold season".

Mr Raisi said, "Another issue that needs to be addressed immediately and out of turn is the organisation of conex box schools and all schools that are not in a good condition”.

The President said that the government would pursue the progress of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad and other provinces on the basis of spatial planning, and said, "We need to focus most of the development activities on the less developed areas”.

Ayatollah Raisi further stated that 217 projects have been approved for implementation in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Provinces during the trip.

Emphasising that some measures should be taken urgently, the President said, "In the video that was played in the middle of this meeting, houses were shown whose roofs were collapsing, which we must try to address their situation as soon as possible”.

Mr Raisi said, "The fact that the ministers present their plans for solving the problems and progress of the province in the meeting of the administrative council of the province is a new method that is implemented in this government and the programmes that are presented have the ability to be continuously monitored and tracked”.

In the final part of his speech, the President said, "Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad has a lot of scientific and academic capacity, which should be placed next to industry and agriculture so that we can improve productivity and increase the quality of industrial and agricultural products”.
