President while receiving the new Ambassador of Kenya's credentials:

Kenya the gateway for export of Iranian goods to Africa/ Expressing hope for the development of relations between the two countries in political, economic, scientific fields

Stating that good and sincere relations have always been in place between Iran and Kenya, the President described Kenya as the gateway for the export of Iranian goods to the African continent.

Speaking on Tuesday while receiving the credentials of the new Ambassador of Kenya to Tehran, Dr Hassan Rouhani emphasised the development and deepening of relations between the two countries in various political, economic, scientific and technological fields, saying, "The two countries have good grounds for cooperation and development of bilateral relations, and these capacities should be used more".

Dr Rouhani wished success to the new Ambassador of Kenya to Tehran and expressed hope that during his mission in Iran, we would see further development and strengthening of relations between the two countries.

The new Ambassador of Kenya to Tehran, Joshua Gatimu, presented his credentials to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and described the relations between the two countries long-standing and developing, and said, "Improving the relations between the two countries is my most important goal as the representative of the Kenyan government in Iran".

The new ambassador of Kenya to Tehran added, "The two countries have good cooperation in various political, economic and scientific fields, and during my mission, I will try to develop these relations more than before".
