Speaking on Thursday at the inauguration ceremony of the national petrochemical industry projects of the Ministry of Oil in Fars, Bushehr and Markazi provinces, Dr Hassan Rouhani said, "Providing the required vaccine and vaccination of more people is of great importance, and by increasing vaccination we can ensure people's health".

"Any company or individual can import vaccines for this important matter, and if they encounter any problems in this way, they should correspond directly with the president's office," said Rouhani.

Regarding the government's efforts to lift sanctions, Dr Rouhani said that today, the soldiers of the front line of diplomacy are in Vienna for negotiations, saying, "It does not matter when the enemy comes to their senses and returns to law, but we are sure that there is no other way for the United States and the rest of the countries that were parties to the JCPOA, and the only way is to fully return to UN Security Council Resolution 2231 and fully implement their obligations under the nuclear deal".

The President emphasised that after the full implementation of the commitments by the United States, we will return to our commitments after the verification, which will not take long.

He continued, "Concerns about Iran's 60% enrichment and what is in your heads about us paving the way for the production of bombs is completely wrong".

Dr Rouhani stated, "We can enrich 90% today, but we stand by our word and we are not looking for an atomic bomb. It is YOU who made and stockpiled the atomic bomb and are still making bombs. This is what YOU do. Do not accuse us of making bombs, Iran's activities are completely peaceful".

The President emphasised, "You do not need to be concerned over these things. Fulfil your obligations and return to the law. Iran has shown in practice that when it promises, it keeps its promise and it fulfils it, but you have shown that your promise is invalid, do not worry about Iran, Iran keeps its words, moves morally and adheres to its commitments".

In another part of his speech, the President said that in the last 100 days of the government's term of office, it will focus on countering coronavirus, especially providing vaccines and carrying out the vaccination process.

The President continued, "A 53-billion-barrel discovery in Namavaran region, massive development of oil and gas fields and almost completion of Assaluyeh and South Pars projects and Goreh to Jask pipeline have been part of significant actions in the field of the Ministry of Oil in recent years under the most severe pressures and unprecedented sanctions".

Dr Rouhani also referred to the inauguration of two technological projects in the field of oil and gas today and added, "In this government, a huge transformation has taken place in the field of oil and gas technology".

The president said, "During the three years of economic war, the enemy tried to limit the country's exports in any way possible, especially the sale of oil and the supply of currency, but exporters of non-oil products took the stage and thwarted the enemy's plan".

"Export of petrochemical products was one of the main sources of foreign exchange for the country during the days of sanctions, which according to reports, 90% of the currency offered in the NIMA system was from revenues from the export of petrochemical products," he continued.
