Gov't focus on 1401 budget bill to be based on justice/ Creating centralised waste management throughout country/ Emphasis on tourism industry in economic prosperity

Emphasising that the focus of the government's work in the budget will be based on justice, the President said, "The correct and fair system of allocating budgets in different parts of the country and in proportion to the capacities and needs will advance the country's economic problems to reduce absolute poverty".

Speaking on Thursday evening in a meeting with the provincial assemblies of the Islamic Consultative Assembly in a meeting with the representatives of Gilan, Mazandaran and Golestan provinces, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi referred to the concerns of the people of the three northern provinces, and said, "To solving these problems, short- and medium-term plans will be followed".
The President called the budget bill the most important financial document of the country in the year and referring to the final stages of drafting this bill for 1401, and said, "This financial document will be submitted to the Islamic Consultative Assembly in the next few days, in which Supreme Leader's emphasises on the reform of the budget structure has been considered".
The President added, "Economic growth, increased production, increased employment and poverty alleviation are important features of the bill".
Emphasising the transformation of the budgeting system in the country in the 1401 budget bill, Dr Raisi noted, "In this bill, the budget structure has been adjusted in such a way that the role of the provinces and the authorities of the governor-generals will be clearer".
Referring to distributive justice in the country's budgeting system, the President said, "We must act on the basis of the spatial planning document, and the Plan and Budget Organisation is justifying the budgeting structures in the country accordingly".
Emphasising that the focus of the government's work in the budget will be based on justice, Ayatollah Raisi said, "The correct and fair system of allocating budgets in different parts of the country and in proportion to the capacities and needs will advance the country's economic problems to eradicate absolute poverty".
Referring to the request to form a work group to remove barriers to production and export of agricultural products in the three Caspian littoral provinces, the President said, "It is very important and necessary to form work groups in each province and even jointly, and the governor-generals of all three provinces should take action".
Regarding the problem of waste in the northern provinces, Dr Raisi said, "It is necessary to create an independent management to solve the problem of waste, to investigate and follow up all issues related to waste".
Referring to the role of the tourism industry in the economic prosperity of the country, especially in the northern regions given the natural attractions of these provinces, the President said, "In many cases, these God-given blessings are not used properly".
Ayatollah Raisi continued his speech by saying that one of the ways to solve the budget deficit is to generate or sell government surplus assets and called on ministers and managers to act seriously and make continuous efforts in this regard.
