Path of financing without borrowing from Central Bank must continue/ Emphasis on convening a meeting of the Joint Commission of Iran-Russia Cooperation chaired by 1st VP

Referring to the report of the Plan and Budget Organisation for financing without borrowing from the Central Bank during the term of the 13th government, the President emphasised, "Efforts should be made to continue the process of financing by not borrowing from the Central Bank until the end of the year."

A meeting of the Cabinet’s Economic Coordination Board was held on Tuesday night, chaired by Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, during which the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance presented a report on its plan for "economic growth without inflation."
In this programme, the policies of monetary, financial, liquidity control, budget, encouragement of production, implementation and completion of infrastructure projects have been considered.
Based on the decision of the members of the Cabinet’s Economic Coordination Board, it was decided that the proposed programme of the Ministry of Economy be integrated with the programmes of other parts of the government's economic team, including the Plan and Budget Organisation.
In this meeting, the Plan and Budget Organisation also presented a report on the current year's budget situation, which was based on the implementation of measures, including the provision of non-borrowed funds from the Central Bank during the term of office of the 13th government.
In this regard, the President emphasised, "Try to continue the process of financing without borrowing from the Central Bank until the end of the year”.
In this meeting, the issue of interaction and expansion of economic and trade cooperation with major and friendly countries, including Russia, was discussed.
Referring to his telephone conversation with the Russian President, Ayatollah Raisi described the prospects of cooperation between the two countries as clear and constructive and stressed the need for a meeting of the Iran-Russia Joint Cooperation Commission chaired by the First Vice President and follow up on agreements.
