Emphasising on holding a joint commission for cooperation between the two countries, the President said, "Undoubtedly, there are many capacities in Iran and Belarus that can be used for the benefit of both nations".

Stressing that sanctions cannot stop the development of friendly relations and cooperation between countries, Ayatollah Raisi said, "The United States thinks that sanctions can hinder the progress of nations, but they are mistaken, and Iran will continue to move forward powerfully with the cooperation of its friendly countries, and we will make America regret by doing so”.

In this meeting, the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Belarus Vladimir Andreichenko referred to Ayatollah Raisi's speech at the swearing-in ceremony, saying, "In your speech, your determination for the rapid development of your country was revealed to everyone, and Belarus stands by Iran in this direction”.

Belarus seeks to establish comprehensive and all-inclusive relations with Iran, he said, adding, "The unjust sanctions of the West, especially the United States, are one of the obstacles to the development of relations between the two countries, but in spite of that, we believe that in the condition of sanctions, we can increase the level of cooperation through more coordination”.
