<title>Ahmadinejad officially welcomes Tajik counterpart</title>

Rakhmonov arrived in Tehran Monday evening on a three-day visit at the head of a high-ranking delegation to hold talks with senior Iranian officials.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
He was welcomed at Tehran Mehrabad International Airport by Minister of Science, Research and Technology Mohammad-Mehdi Zahedi.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
During the official ceremony held at the Presidential Office, national anthems of the two countries were played and the two presidents reviewed a guard of honor.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Ahmadinejad and Rakhmonov are to hold a private meeting. The Iranian and Tajik delegation will then start their official talks.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
During his stay, the Tajik president is scheduled to meet with Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, President Ahmadinejad, Majlis Speaker Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel and Chairman of the Expediency Council Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
He is also to pay tribute to the Father of the Islamic Revolution, the late Imam Khomeini and visit Iran Khodro auto manufacturing company.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
