President Ahmadinejad stated that Iran-Sri Lanka relation is friendly and based on common grounds and both countries are in the way to expand their bilateral regional ties.
<br /><br />
Referring to the position of Sri Lanka as the head of G15 summit, President Ahmadinejad added: Iran supports the measures taken by this group in order to increase regional ties.<br /><br />
<br /><br />
Sri Lanka President also asserted that “we support the stand and rights of Iranian nation in different areas”. He also emphasized close ties between regional groups and stated that Iran’s experience could be valuable in order to strengthen and activate regional cooperation’s as the aim of G15.<br /><br />
