President in a meeting with Bhutan Prime Minister:

Speaking with Bhutan Prime Minister Jigme Thinley here on Wednesday evening, President Ahmadinejad said that Iran and Bhutan can through joint cooperation build a world free of war, hostility and animosity.
He said that building of a world full of kindness, friendship and progress, free of bullying and occupation is in need of cooperation of every human being and the world leaders.
Elsewhere in his remarks, President Ahmadinejad said that Iran and Bhutan share many cultural commonalties on peace and justice.
The president hoped that through help of the NAM members effective steps would be taken towards peace and global security.
He said economic criteria are not enough to ensure nations’ prosperity. “Real prosperity should be gauged through value criteria and there are many rich countries, seeming developed, but not prosperous really. “
Thinley for his part said during Iran presidency over NAM, Bhutane would not spare any support.
“We have taken part in the meeting to show our solidarity to Iran and help materialization of ideals and aspirations of the NAM.”
