Resistive Economy policies to continue until all goals reached/Gov't performance in implementing Resistive Economy policies must be reported to people/Figures show gov't successful fighting social harms
President Hassan Rouhani described government's efforts in implementing the policies of Resistive Economy as successful and very positive, stressing: "The policies of Resistive Economy must be always considered and continued until all goals are reached".
Speaking in the last cabinet session of the current year, President Rouhani said on Wednesday: "In the current year, very positive measures have been taken with regard to economic and production infrastructure".
He also referred to advancements in the field of security, self-sufficiency in wheat production, imports and production, energy, food, agriculture, railroads, roads and air transportation, tourism and dams and power plants.
Government's performance in implementing Resistive Economy policies must be reported to people, continued the president, adding: "In this field, good steps have been taken in the form of short- and long-term plans".
He went on to appreciate the police and military and security forces for their efforts in maintaining security and stability in the country.
Dr Rouhani also mentioned the Supreme Leader's special attention to social harms and said: "In this field, the Social Department of the Interior Ministry was upgraded to an organisation and the Social Council started working to confront social harms".
The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran also said that figures show government has been successful in fighting social harms.
Congratulating H.H Fatima al-Zahra's (SA) birthday and woman's day, Dr Hassan Rouhani said: "Iranian women are working alongside men in educational, scientific, and political fields. Of course, gender discrimination of the past centuries must be compensated for".
He also stressed that grudges must be left behind in the new year. He added: "Disagreements must be left behind and new relations and atmosphere must be opened for our country to witness more social integrity in the new year".
The President appreciated the cabinet and all executive and state officials for their efforts, as well as those of the press, adding: "The media must be forerunners of informing the people about the advancements of the country in the coming year, helping realise national interests through timely and precise informing".
