President while visiting wounded war veteran with 70% disability:
Visiting families of veterans, martyrs an honour for government/Charter on Citizens’ Rights based on firm foundation
President Rouhani visited wounded war veteran with 70% disability, Faramarz Fazeli, and appreciated him for his self-sacrifice during the 8-year Sacred Defence.
In the visit that took place late on Wednesday, Dr Rouhani said: “Visiting families of war veterans and martyrs is an honour for the government”.
Referring to the Charter on Citizens’ Rights, he added: “To finalise the charter a great number of meetings have been held with lawyers”.
President Rouhani continued: “People getting acquainted with the charter, leads to them tracking and pursuing their citizenship rights because this is one of their inalienable rights”.
He also expressed hope that people-people and people-state social relations be further developed within the framework that God has set.
In this visit that Vice-President in Martyrs and Veterans Affairs Hojatoleslam Val-Moslemin Shahidi was attending, a plaque of appreciation was given to the veteran.
