President while receiving new Moroccan ambassador's letter of credence:
Developing Iran-Morocco ties beneficial to both nations, region
"Developing ties between Iran and Morocco is very beneficial to both nations and the region," said President Rouhani while receiving the letter of credence of Morocco's new Ambassador to Iran, Hassan Hami.
At the meeting that took place on Saturday in Tehran, Dr Rouhani added: "We should tap the existing opportunities and potentials to deepen and cement ties and cooperation between the two countries".
"In addition to trade and economic ties, Iran and Morocco can cooperate in other fields such as cultural and scientific ones," the President added.
He also stressed the need to increase cooperation and consultation between the two countries to settle issues, especially in Northern Africa and continued saying that all countries of the region, especially Iran and Morocco should contribute in this regard".
At the same meeting, Ambassador Hassan Hami also said: "We always appreciate the Islamic Republic of Iran's stances in resolving international issues and problems through dialogue and diplomacy".
