President in a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister:

Terrorists fights against civilization and humanity

President Hassan Rouhani said on Monday that Iran, Armenia and all regional states should join hands to fight terrorism because security can be established in the region under the aegis of cooperation.

President Rouhani made the remarks in a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan on Monday.
President said that the security is a non-dividable category and if a country suffers from terrorism, other countries will suffer too.
He said: "The Islamic Republic of Iran supports political and peaceful solutions within the framework of international laws for resolving the regional issues."
Referring to the crimes of terrorist groups in the region, Dr.Rouhani said that terrorists are fighting against civilization and humanity and it makes no difference for them to kill Christians or Muslims.
He then called for using all existing capacity to expand relations between Iranian and Armenian governments and nations.
The president said given the serious determination and abundant capacity available to expansion of mutual cooperation, Iran and Armenia face a bright prospect in their mutual ties.
Hovik Abrahamian, for his part, hoped his Tehran visit will prepare the grounds for all-out expansion of relations, in the economic domain in particular.
He said his country is ready for political and economic cooperation with Iran.
