Iran advocates fair ties with states president tells envoys
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Sunday that Iran follows motto of amicable and fair relations with countries.
Ahmadinejad was speaking on Iranian foreign policy with Iran's ambassadors to Central and Northern Europe.
"The Islamic Republic of Iran is willing to further boost its relations with all states including the Central and Northern European countries based on mutual respect," he said.
He added, "With the grace of God, the system of Iran is currently more experienced and powerful at international scenes.
"Iran's ambassadors should have an influential presence in their host countries to help expand Iranian ties with their people and government and convey Iran's message to world nations."
The president said, "Envoys are representatives of culture and thought of Iran's Islamic Revolution. They should fulfill their crucial duties to convey message of Iran to the governments and nations of the host countries in a bid to bolster bilateral ties and thwart conspiracies of the enemies."
He said that confrontation with the Islamic Revolution created political disarray in the West adding that bullying and dominance over other countries have come to an end."
"Ambassadors shoulder heavy responsibility to give an appropriate response to needs of human beings by using a political model."
