The hegemonic powers frequently spout rude and bullying diatribes against the Iranian nation, Dr. Ahmadinejad said in an address to a gathering in the city of Karaj, on Sunday.

President Ahmadinejad has brushed aside the US and Zionist regime military threats against the Islamic Republic, saying their options can remain on the table until they rot.

“They say all of the options are on the table. Let your (West’s) options remain on the table until they (anti-Iran options) and yourselves rot together,” he added.

Dr.Ahmadinejad further stressed the Iranian nation will withstand the economic pressures and will not be intimidated by the Western talk of bombs, warships and warplanes.

President announced Tehran's permanent preparedness to hold negotiations with the West under an atmosphere of logic, but meantime reiterated that Iran always stands firm against the military threats and bullying attitude of the US and its allies.

"If you have any logical words, come and say," Dr.Ahmadinejad said, and continued, "The Iranian nation accepts logical words but if you bring hundreds of other warships (to the region), these people will not bow before you."

The Islamic Republic has strongly refuted Western allegations regarding its nuclear energy program, arguing that as a signatory to the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and a member of the International Atomic Energy Agency, it is entitled to develop and acquire nuclear technology for peaceful objectives.
