During Interview with Charlie Rose, PBS journalist responding to a question about whether the sanctions has had negative effects on Iran, President Ahmadinejad asserted: “sanctions and pressure of some Western countries against Iran is not currently belong to this time, for a period of Thirty years we have suffered and tolerate economic sanctions, but today the Iranian nation has had commendable and tremendous achievements in the fields of biotechnology, peaceful nuclear technology, and stem cells.



In further remarks, President noted that currently tens of thousands of Iranian researchers and scientists are active in different scenes, which goes to show that we will be witness to ever-increasing growth and progress in the near future.



Undoubtedly ,t he sanctions have created some inconvenience and nuisance problems that may occur at free trade ,the Iranian nation does not embrace the principle of sanctions, consider it as an ugly path of action that blocks the friendly cooperation, sanctions is an act of political action rather than economic action.



President Ahmadinejad asserted: “Iran is a great country with vast economic, since sanctions were imposed against Iran our relations with Europe has increased every year in recent years.



Responding to a question on criticism of his government and opposition inside Iran, president said: “Iran is a free society and political parties and groups are free to comment and criticism. In particular, some cabinet members who have positive attitudes, some objections are raised, and I no one stop this shows that the government has full freedom that anyone can do anything.



Responding to a question on Syria issue, president made the remarks that Iran nation believe that justice and free choice are the true right of all nations.



President Ahmadinejad said: “Democracy will not obtain though foreign intervention and the NATO campaign, Afghanistan has been occupied more than ten years, but the security situation and economy is far worse than before.



Dr.Ahmadinejad emphasizing that Iran's stance on foreign policy is clear open, said support and opposition Iran made by Iran is declared, we are not afraid of any power and do not need to conceal our intentions, Iran has a Friendly relations with government and people Syria and we are trying that develop understanding between the Syria government and people, who have protest.



The President said: The way that NATO is deal with regional developments and countries is wrong and cannot resolve the problem with attacking bombs and military nations.



Security Council should heir the neutral group instead of military attack to be among the people and government to solve problems and disputes over the agreement and the settlement in a human way.
