The President arrive in Mauritania
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad heading a top level delegation arrived in Nouakchott the capital of West African Islamic Republic of Mauritania on Monday.
Flying to New York to partake the United Nations General Assembly, he was warmly welcomed by Mauritanian officials and ambassador of Islamic republic of Iran to Mauritania.
President Ahmadinejad and his accompanying delegation during a trip to New York to attend the 66th summit meeting of the United Nations General Assembly to start at the UN headquarters, after nine-hour flight, arrived at noon local time in the city of Nouakchott and they are going to leave there for New York after the 2-hour rest.
