President Ahmadinejad left Tehran for Tajikistan at the head of a high-ranking delegation on Sunday noon.



National anthems of the two countries were played in the ceremony and the two presidents reviewed the guard of honor.



In addition to conferring with the Tajik president on regional issues, President Ahmadinejad is scheduled to sign several agreements on economic cooperation and take part in a joint press conference with the President Rakhmon.
