President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Thursday that the Iranian nation is to make a scientific breakthrough next year, thus preparing the grounds for being the pioneer of global civilizations.

President Ahmadinejad made the remarks in the 8th gathering commemorating “National Day of Engineering” which was held in Tehran.
The ceremony was held simultaneous with observing the prominent Iranian scientist Khaje Nasireddin Tousi.
Referring to glorious records of activities of Iranian scholars and scientists in generating science, he advised Iranian engineers to be a pioneer of global civilization.
The Iranian government is ready to render invaluable services to Iranian engineers to attain such a significant goal, he said.
Iranian scientists and engineers are successfully going ahead on the path of success and development, said President Ahmadinejad.
