In an address to the families of martyrs and war veterans in northern Gilan Province president said:"The Iranian nation will stand fast until oppression is rooted out and the flag of justice is raised in the world, keeping the enemy wishing forever that Iran take even one step back.”



President said the enemy believed it could halt Iranians' progress and keep them from pursuing their ideals by imposing a war on them, but to no avail.



President Ahmadinejad further said: “The enemy committed numerous crimes and even violated the rules and restrictions that they themselves had set.”



President further underlined that the enemy has been struggling for 32 years to deflect the Iranian nation from its path.



He added, nevertheless, the Iranian people are strong as ever, and will frustrate the enemy.
