Asia is the cradle of world's largest civilizations
President, Dr Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has described the Asian continent as the home of many of the world's major civilizations, emphasizing that God's Prophet's (Peace be upon them) were born in the continent of Asia, and they invited humanity to peace and brotherhood.

President Ahmadinejad made the remarks in the ninth Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) ministerial meeting which kicked off in Tehran on Monday.
He said: “The western countries have failed in terms of economy and are not able to maintain their balance or supervise world economic order. He added: “Such failures have roots in their outlook, insight, human relations and their responsibilities.
The global arrogance considers itself above the others and assumes that because of having military might it can interfere in all global affairs by dictating its inhuman policies, said the president.
They believe that their welfare and wealth are above dignity of all people and for the same reason, they simply trample upon the legitimate rights of all nations, said President Ahmadinejad.
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has called for a new world order based on justice and respect where all nations play equal roles in global management.
The president said decades-long hatred, wars, and economic crises plaguing the world are the result of the current unjust world order.
"We need a new order, wherein all nations and governments can equally play a role in world management. Everyone should play an active role in the management of world [affairs]," the president said, echoing calls he made during his address to the United Nations General Assembly in September.
President Ahmadinejad emphasized that human civilizations have sprung up from the east to the west of the Asian continent, since ancient times.
Pres. Ahmadinejad said the cultures of the people of Asia, is full of kindness, and friendship, adding that poetry, literature and art in Asia, they all point to a deep understanding of human beings, the human condition, the human needs, and Asian literature and art has always encouraged friendship, peace and justice.
"Today, it has become clear that the order stemming from materialist ideology has failed both in theory and in practice," he added.
President Ahmadinejad added that Asian countries have "more responsibility," since they can tap into their vast resources, manpower, as well as culture.
"This is what the world greatly needs," he added.
