President Mahmoud Ahamdinejad in his meeting on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly with the Sudanese Vice President Ali Othman Taha, stressing that both Tehran and Khartoum have revolutionary and fundamental stands at international scenes, added, “By boosting the level of comprehensive bilateral cooperation Iran and Sudan can draw high horizons for the two nations.”

President pointed out: “The enemies are worried and displeased with the advancement of the Islamic countries and do their best to halt their progress, arguing, “The hegemonic system resorting to various methods tries to block the path for the rising might and blossoming advancement of the Islamic countries.”

He added, “What enrages them is the increased level of wellbeing and advancement of the Iranian and Sudanese nations.”

Dr.Ahmadinejad meanwhile referred to the existing potentials in both countries for further increasing the level of bilateral cooperation, stressing that maximum advantage must be taken of such potentials.

Sudan’s First Vice President Taha, too, in the meeting praising President Ahmadinejad’s opening address at the UNGA said, “No matter how hard our enemies try to conceal the facts included in such lectures and such brilliant strands, they are always incapable of denying the historic facts.”

Stressing that Sudan keeps on supporting the Islamic Republic of Iran’s stands like always in the past, he said, “Khartoum considers the might, capabilities and advancement of Iran as the Islamic Ummah’s points if strength.”

The Sudanese Vice president added, “The vigor and resistance on the part of the Sudanese nation in confrontation with the global oppression is the fruit of the experience gained in the course of the Iranian nation’s Islamic Revolution.”
