Dr. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Abdullah Wade with emphasis on increasing cooperation and coordination of countries and Islamic governments, called such cooperation to the benefit of peace, prosperity and global security.



The two presidents, in this meeting also emphasized on the use of existing capacities in Iran-Senegal relations and to expand bilateral and international cooperation.



Dr.Ahmadinejad pointed to increasing Iran-Senegal relations, saying that the use of available capacity in the two countries to promote multilateral cooperation is to the benefit of  both nations and the region.



Wade, who is visiting Tehran to attend an Iran-Africa conference, noted, "Senegal attaches great importance to its ties with Iran and considers it to the benefit of the world's Muslims, particularly in Africa."
