President at the time of his departure to Africa for attending the Developing Eight (D8) Summit:
The D8 Summit can be effective in establishing a new system in the global fair relations.
President notified that he will submit Iran’s certain proposals and views for establishment of new order and global fair management during the D8 Summit. This meeting is to be held in Nigeria, Africa.
President Ahmadinejad before his leaving to Nigeria and Mali stated the goals of these journeys. He added: “Mali is one of the great West Africa countries and the two countries relations are at very good level. This trip will be followed by expanding and profound bilateral relations in various parts.
The president added: “representative of our traders have designed programs and good projects for activity in economic and cultural parts, And also cooperation expansion in agriculture and industrial sector that will become operational during this trip.
The president called the D8 Summit important and stated: “D8 consists of eight large Islamic countries with important economic, political position that has great influence in the Islamic world and even the entire world.
Dr.Ahmadinejad noted: "D8 is an emerging and developing organization and includes vast economic, scientific and industrial capabilities that extensive cooperation in this eight countries will lead to the formation of a powerful economic, cultural and political block in the world.
Dr.Ahmadinejad will hold private talks with the participating world leaders at the summit on the international and bilateral relations.
