Iranian and Brazilian officials signed eight cooperation documents in presence of the two countries’ presidents.

Iran’s Minister of Industry and Mines Ali Akbar Mehrabian and the Brazilian Mines and Energy Minister Maarcio Zimmerman singed a cooperation deal on mines and geology, based on which private sectors of the two states will cooperate.
In the meantime, Iranian Minister of Energy Majid Namjou signed an agreement with Zimmerman in the field of energy.
Mahrabian also inked another agreement with the head of Brazil's National Petroleum Agency Harold Lima to promote oil cooperation between the two states.
Deputy Minister of Industry and Mines Hedayat signed another agreement on industrial cooperation with the Brazilian deputy minister of industry development and foreign trade, Romalo.
Agreements on finance, standard and technology were signed between respective officials of the two countries.
Three other documents are to be signed tonight.
Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva is in Tehran to attend G15 Summit to be held on May 17.
