The documents pertain to Iran’s assistance to the development of Uganda, sanitary, pharmaceutical and medical cooperation as well as a document overseeing the agreements reached between the two countries.

Based on the last document, a 7-member committee will be formed to pursue the implementation of the agreements earlier signed by the two countries.

A joint political communiqué was also inked by the presidents of the two states.

Heading a high-ranking politico-economic delegation, the Iranian President arrived in Kampala Friday on the last leg of his two-nation tour which had already taken him to Harare, Zimbabwe.
