Speaking on Saturday at the meeting of the National Task Force Against Coronavirus, Dr Hassan Rouhani stated that the plan will continue until the end of coronavirus outbreak, he said, "The goal of the intensification of these restrictions is for the people to fully understand that this is an state of emergency and everyone must help to get us out of this situation with the least harm".

The President also stated, "Any factor that reduces people's trust in the National Task Force Against Coronavirus, its operational headquarters and the Ministry of Health in the process of fighting coronavirus harms the entire country".

Referring to the forty-fourth meeting of the National Task Force Against Coronavirus, he said, "We have been facing the problem of this disease for about 9 months and several resolutions have been approved in the National Task Force Against Coronavirus to deal with this disease and control it, as well as restrictions in cities and different provinces across the country were declared to succeed in this direction".

The President called education an important issue in the fight against this disease and said, "We must increase people's health literacy in this field and provide sufficient information and education to them".

Dr Rouhani stressed that people should have 100% trust in the National Task Force Against Coronavirus and its operational headquarters and the decisions that are made in that headquarters, and said, "Anything that reduces people's trust regarding this disease and the actions that are being taken is to the detriment of the people and will reduce heeding the protocols".

The President said that the government and all agencies that help the government in the fight against the disease should pay attention to the requirements of health protocols, saying, "E-government development equipment is essential, as well as the assistance of other agencies and institutions, including the Armed Forces, to the Ministry of Health".

Dr Rouhani also referred to the importance of guaranteeing the implementation of the resolutions of the National Task Force Against Coronavirus and said, "If the resolutions are approved and announced, but not implemented by a few, we will not achieve our goal, so the violating minority must be dealt with".

The President described the minimisation of unnecessary gatherings and traffic as an important and fundamental issue in the fight against coronavirus and said, "By reducing unnecessary traffic and gatherings, the virus can be controlled and prevented from spreading, but unfortunately in some cases by holding unnecessary gatherings like the ones for the victory of a football team or a religious gathering in the city of Mashhad, can cause us problems".

Dr Rouhani added, "Today, we made general decisions to impose more restrictions, which will be implemented from next Saturday, according to the characteristics of the cities in terms of disease status, and will continue until the end of coronavirus".

In the end, the President noted, "We hope that with the help and cooperation of each other and the observance of protocols, like the first round of the disease that we went through proudly, we will overcome this more difficult disease with the help and cooperation of each other, God willing".
