Ahmadinejad Zionists behind South Ossetia Abkhazia tension
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said here Thursday that there are evidence at hand which prove Zionists are behind South Ossetia and Abkhazia events.

"We have information which show Zionists have a role in the South Ossetia and Abkhazia case," said President Ahmadinejad in an interview with reporters on the sidelines of the 8th Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit.
President Ahmadinejad said problem in Caucasus has been caused by intervention of the ultra-regional powers and if the powers do not interfere, regional governments will be capable of solving their problems themselves.
"In our opinion, had Georgian officials managed soundly and not allowed the outside forces to interfere in the case, it would not have got dimensions," said the president.
The world is today speedily moving towards change and development, said President Ahmadinejad, adding that on the one hand, the developments are outcome of unilateralism and discrimination in international relations, and on the other hand, they are the result of nations' resistance against the movements which counter humanistic approaches.
The proper way is recourse to law and justice and putting respect for human beings and law as the basis of international relations, he added.
Asked about the Iran-US relations, President Ahmadinejad said, "Had the US officials heeded experts' view, the conditions would have become good."
On the SCO summit, the president said the SCO members constitute more than one third of the world population and enjoy high capacity with drastic impact on global equations.
