Speaking on Sunday evening in a press conference in Yazd, President Hassan Rouhani said, "I would like to thank the people of Yazd Province for their warm hospitality".

Referring to the opening of the Chadormalu Mega-module Direct Reduction Plant, he said, "This factory has a capacity of producing 1.55m tonnes of sponge steel, which will bring a great development to the province".

He went on to describe the great factory of producing turbine and compressors, saying, "We are very happy that this factory has become self-sufficient in the field of giant turbines".

Projects in different fields have been opened in Yazd Province, he said, adding, "Opening projects with such greatness means that a good development is being made in Yazd".

"We promised two important railway and drinking water supply projects to the people of Yazd, and the government is determined to put them into operation," said Rouhani.

He also went on to say, "We will keep pursuing the drinking water supply project for the next 30 years".

Dr Rouhani added, "The government has been making effort for the country to have acceptable communication with the world, and in this regard, our National Information Network is active and different phases are being unveiled".

"We believe that scientific and economic progress is only possible through being active in global markets, therefore, we will continue facilitating our presence in these markets," said the President.

He continued, "Our political relations with the world can be a great factor for development of tourism in our country. Removing visa requirements with a country can increase foreign tourists in our country".
